Morphe Review!- 35O Nature Palette and Brushes

Morphe Brushes. Most of you beauties already know exactly what I’m talking about. Their company has become one of my favorites in recent months and has won the hearts of many other makeup lovers, too. Their popularity skyrocketed thanks to the one and only Jaclyn Hill, who is always raving about them on her YouTube Channel (you have to check her out if you haven’t already.

I don’t have many of their products, but the ones I do have are AMAZING if you are trying to save some dough and get high quality products. Yes, you read that correctly! You get BOTH!!

Brushes
They are best known for their brushes. Morphe offers 10 different brush lines on their site which range in price based upon the materials they are made of and the type of bristle on the brushes. Each line has similar brush shapes/types (blush, contour, powder, eye brushes, etc.).

I have purchased several of their brushes and I love them all! The ones currently in my collection are:

Please excuse the dirty brushes and fingerprints. I haven’t washed them yet this week! 🙂

  • B4 Angle Blush Brush $4.99 – I generally use this for my highlighter although it tends to be a little harsh on super fine soft powders, but it does a great job and blends out well.
  • B39 Badger Chisel Fluff (Eyes) $2.99 – Fantastic for packing on shimmery shades or even just swiping on a wash of color for quick looks.
  • B80 Pointed Crease $4.99 –  I love this for my crease. It blends out beautiful smokey looks!
  • E2 Round Powder $19.99 –  This brush is super soft! I use it to set my foundation (with a translucent powder) all at once before I blend on my bronzer, blush, and highlighter. *** When I bought this brush, I purchased the original one for less than $10. They were getting rid of the Elite line to replace it with the Elite 2, which is the price shown and the brush that is linked above.
  • B6 Flat Bronzer $5.99 – This baby has a sharp edge for contoured bronzing, but the flat top is also incredibly soft and blends amazingly. It’s not too big or too small for my face. I love this brush.
  • M439 Deluxe Buffer $13.99 –  My holy grail foundation brush. I apply my primers and then foundation with this. It blends out my foundation and leaves it streak-free. Thank you Jaclyn Hill for this fantastic recommendation.
  • B3 Chisel Blush $5.99 –  I do like this brush and use it to sweep on a light blush color, but it’s not my favorite. I’m not the biggest fan of the goat/sable hair, but it gets the job done and is inexpensive.

Morphe usually has a sale on different brushes and items on their site and a lot of the YouTube beauty gurus have an affiliate code that you can enter to save money on your purchases… aka you can generally get a really good discount on an already inexpensive product that is make up artist quality with out the MAC/Sigma price.

Palettes
After seeing so many positive reviews of their palettes, I myself caved and purchased one. I snatched the highly coveted 35O Palette. They offer several different ones that have different themes (cool tones, purples, vibrant colors, all matte, all shimmers, etc.) They have a ton of options for a company that only has one physical location (California — you lucky, lucky beauties!). The 35O is always sold out even though they re-stock regularly. It costs $22.99. Seriously. You get 35 shadows for only $23. Morphe also doesn’t sell the same shadow colors in their palettes as individual pots so you never have to worry about color duplicates.

Morphe 35O Eyeshadow Palette - Review & Swatches 1

This doesn’t do the glittery shades any justice, but it does give you a good idea of the range of colors in the palette. (Excellent for fall right around the corner!)

The 35O is a palette consisting of 35 warm and neutral toned shadows ranging from light pinks and golds to red-oranges and browns. It has a mix of glittery, shimmery, and matte shades. The shades apply smooth and consistent. They aren’t patchy at all. This palette is gorgeous I literally can’t stress this enough. The case isn’t the most sturdy, but it is rather compact for the quantity of product that comes inside. I was also highly intimidated by this palette because they shades are a little brighter than my normal choices, but there are a ton of YouTube tutorials for looks with it (bonus! you have help learning how to use it). You can also purchase the 35O in an all matte version or an all shimmer version if you prefer. I don’t necessarily recommend this as a travel-friendly palette since it is plastic and I would be terrified my shadow pans would break, but it is great to keep at home and can be used every day!

All in all, Morphe is a great company to shop with. They are quick with shipping and deliver great products at an even greater price. They are always developing new products and adding to their already fantastic line. If you haven’t heard of them or purchased any of their products — STOP HESITATING! They are worth every penny and more. They are a great makeup and tool company, especially if you’re trying to not go overboard in the financial department.

What do you think of Morphe Brushes and their products?! Let me know! I’d love to discuss your opinions and experiences!
